As for jumping out of a plane... I'm going next year. I think I'm trying to convince myself it will be warmer. My guess is up that high falling that fast its gonna be cold. How was it? |

actually for me i wasnt cold at all. To tell you the truth i wasnt even that nervous or scared when i went. You dont get that roller coaster feeling in your stomach like you think you would. The feeling you get when your falling from 14,000 feet in the air is awesome. Best way i can describe it is like somebody but a big ass fan in front of my face for a minute. Definatly was a blast tho. Il be doing it again hopefully this year. And im not lying when i say this but i was more nervous just driving to the dirt dawgs last trophy race then i was looking out of the plane door were you can barely tell that these dots are really huge buildings. I even got a video of my jump and a lot of pictures. Everyone definatly has to try this at least once in there life

I've also jumped back in 2001 when I was in Depaul. I think it was at chicago skydive, it was a blast even thou it was a tandem jump. I swore I would do it every year, but have'nt been back since.
If anybody wants to try it you should go during warmer climates cuz when I went it was early november and cloudy. When I opened the plane door all I could see was the clouds no ground then they told me to jump(into the clouds) free falling @ 120MPH the moisture in the air hit me in the face like ice splinters(oouch!!)when I fell out of the cloud the view was awesome, I was the first out of the plane out of 4 jumpers and the last to hit the ground. fun. |

I was told to get a video your first time... even if it is an extra $100 or so. I saw my friends and it was awesome. Looked like an unforgetable experience. Like I said... I plan on jumping out of a perfectly good plane next year, just not sure where yet.

i think im gonna go maybe one more time but thats about it. Theres no real thrill in it. I wasnt nervous or scared at all the whole time. Just a lot of money to spend for 5 minutes of fun. Dont get me wrong i had a lot of fun but there wasnt a thrill were i kept saying lets do it again. Freefall was like ya ok, kinda kewl but got boring really fast. Under canopy i had a lot more fun. Doing big hook turns that give you enough geforces to almost make you pass out. That was the best part of it. Otherwise i was just sorta like meh.
