After talking with a members regarding this subject, I decided to try it out and see what happens.

This site runs on vbulletin forum software which is purchased software. While I own the license to run it for life, support and updates are a yearly payment. The chat software is also free but it's branded and non-adjustable as it sits. I'd really like to upgrade it to one of the paid ones so that I can remove the branding and color match it to the site.

If anyone wishes to help out, I have setup a donation fund with my paypal account. The button is located on the left hand side of the homepage. 3rd box down, you can't miss it. All the proceeds will go into keeping the software up to date and the site upgraded with features members want.

Sure, why not. I updated the first post with a mailing address to send cash donations. For those who go this route, please send my an email with your donation amount. I've setup a seperate folder in outlook to keep all the donation emails in 1 spot so I can send out a thank you email to everyone who donates.

For those of you paypal the money, do not need to send an email. I get one from paypal when I receive money, thanks.

While not as handy as my favorite RC magazine, this website and it's forums is definately close, if not ahead, in value to any magazine subscription. If RCDad would post more bimbo's, and there were links to more shopping sites (like the back of a mag) you could almost call this an E-zine site.

I say it's very much worth supporting our hardworking WebMaster.

Thanks to those who donated already! I was able to order up another year of support and updates for the forum software this morning, paid in full with donation money.

I'm poor......but I'll see what I can do.. Very good idea and this site is awesome. I would have no problem donating and you will have paypal from me in due time.
