I had a truck doing 40 go by my leg so close I had oil on my shoe! I about crapped my pants. Never even saw it coming from behind and thenn WHHOOOSSH right by. That would have knocked me down, for sure. Now it's just another fond memory of the greatest RC day of my life.

Actually, it was a Mayhem buggy. This is the guy, but without his hat.

Me and my bud had to catch some sky when that buggy went rogue. I saw it coming but thought the driver had control until I heard the "RUN AWAY". Although I believe Jeff was more concerned about his STI then his LEG.

I felt a "moment of silence" was needed to honor the buggy after hearing and seeing it hit the curb.

BTW what needed replacing?

Damage report:

- one hex pin, bent the shock tower and trashed the body on my T-Maxx.
- A blown center drive shaft on the Revo.
- One broken shock end, busted wing mount, cracked a rear arm and a blown out wheel center on the Truggy.

Overall, not that bad...especially happy with the Truggy beatings!!

My damage report for all who care lol...

Revo-Busted shock end, pickup 3 good and one shock needing an end from Mr Tune (thanks again)

Screwed pull start- have no clue how this happened. I figure it got wrapped around the axle and got pulled out...Won't go back in by hand now. I'll see if the oneway just got trashed tommrow mabye...

Wow, that's it I think....My electronics actually didn't crap out on me like I thought they did after nothing happened after one race, but the pack just dumped all of a sudden. Thankfully I didn't have a runaway during the race...Woah that would have been bad...

I broke the little silver pin that holds the forward only gear on the shaft in my tranny...pin just sheered in half... lost the forward only gears from the pin flopping around in the tranny case.

all fixed now and I'm ready to race! lol

Damage:

Busted Wing Mount (Didn't actually break but the screws sheared off inside of it)
Clutch bearing (Decided to give out after losing to Michowski by a foot in the drags. Did a few cartwheels after we collided at the end)
