There has been alot of talk on other forums about if we will be able to race on the outdoor track. I felt I should address the issue here also. Below is my comment

"I have to tell you I was thinking about this all last night. I want to race outside just as much as anyone. Trust me I'm burnt out on the indoor just as you are.

But then I got to think the main reason why I asked Leisure Hours to host the first round. The greatest benefit is we can race rain or shine. April is a hard month to predict with Chicago weather. The outdoor track could get done in time and we end up with a rain storm on race day. Either way we get to have a lot of fun!"

Come on rocco. Have you given up on winning a trophy and looking at trying for a medal instead?

Outside track is still mud. Just when it get almost dry it rains or snows. Monday I will do the inside track so it will be new for your race. With the weather the way it has been I would feel better knowing we'll have a new track that won't get rain out.

That is wld that you can see the flight of the cars "on the wall" where the old layout was....I guess lots of flying machines tapped the wall and left marks.

I’m not much for speeches so I will keep this short.

The first thing I would like to do is thank Leisure Hours and there crew for hosting the first round. The track was fast and fun. I also want to thank John, Jimbo and a lovely lady (sorry I never got her name) for the awesome announcing. There were a lot of exciting races and they did a great job of letting everyone know what was happening on the track.

Thank you Josh for hooking up Live RC. I know you had some tech difficulties but I believe that was to be expected. Sorry I could not help. Talking in front of big crowds and working on computers are not my strong points.

I also want to thank Tim Booker and Mike Merritt for letting me use there cameras! Thank you guys

I will have the race results up on the website tonight after work. All the picks I took will be up as they are sent to me.

Thank you all who came to the race.

See you at round 2 @ Cheese City in Monroe Wi.

MidwestNitro is a traviling points series. Every race you earn points.
The "Points Tally" Is a page on my website. Home Page
Points are in single increments. The more races you attend the more points you get.

Go to the website and on the left side you will find a link for the classes ran in the series. To check how many points you have click your on the class or classes. There will be one throw out. Which can be a missed race or lowest points scored for the day.
Also on the rite is all the race qualifiers and mains for the last race attended. Once we run a new track, the page will be updated with the track qualifiers and mains.

Sorry I need to slow down a bit.

Oh I should let everyone know there were a few missing names on the points list I put up on the website. It is now been fixed. If I accidently left your name out I am sorry, it will not happen again.

Also we will have some picks up from the race very soon! Should have some up by the end of the week. We have over 1000 to sort out.

The web-site has been updated with picks from round 1. Goto Home Page and click on "Round 1 Picks"

Keep in mine I was only able to get 1/4 of them up today. I'm no good at photo-shop so some are not that great. I will be hooking up with Tim B to get the rest up asap.
Sorry for the delay.

Oh there is about 250+ to view!

OK guys we (Tim & I)just finnished with the final uploads of the picks from round 1. I know there is WAY TO MANY but what the hell. There are alot of great picks and I'm sure we got one of you. I'd post a few but I can not decide on which I like. So why not pick your fav and put them up.

Also I did a little website visitor checking ad it seems quite a few are using Blackberrys to check the site.
516 hits to be exact.
I know the website does not compleatly load up on a cell. But If I add on the site a .MOBI you will get the entire site.
Would you prefer this or is what you are getting just fine?
