In order to benefit the most from the new style, I have made new rules for both avatars and signatures.

Before avatars were allowed to be 120x120, which is now changed to 120x80. The shorter pics will make the bar with you info in all your posts look nicer than with the older bigger size limit. By default, it lets everyone keep their originals intact, so I ask that everyone resize there avatars if it's bigger than 120x80.

Also, because I hate huge signatures, I am imposing a 5 line limit on signatures. While there is not way (that I know of) to force this kind of thing, I ask that everyone respects my decision and adjusts their signature according. A few sigs that I seen require almost the entire height on my screen to display (and I run use a 20" monitor). Make reading posts a chore IMO. Sucks to have to scroll alot just to see the next post!

I'll give everyone a few days to make the necesary changes. I'm looking to achieve a nice clean look for the site and I feel this will be better for the community as a whole. After that anytime I spot a violation I'll simply delete the sig or avatar without warning. Continued disregard will result in bannings! Let's all be adults about this .

most any PC Paint or Photoshop type picture editting program will resize the image to any size you need. Resave it with a new name and upload to your settings here.

And you guys...by 120x80, he means longer than it is tall. Notice how he was talking about getting the posts a little shorter than now? Well keeping the same height and making the avatar narrower ain't gonna do anything now is it.

guess I didn't fix it lol. guess I'm screwed cause I'm stupid when it comes to this stuff.

I tried resizing it in paint and all it does is chop off half of the pic.

If anyone needs help to resize their avatars, click on my name on any of my posts and use the drop down box to send me an email. Attach your old avatar and I'll resize it for you.
