We should find out what waitresses are working on both days, that would have a lot of bearing which day is best

Alright yeah nevermind what I said before I talked to the 'rents and they said I can make it either day.....So yeah count me in for saturday or sunday....Prolly not able to make it to the hooters though.

I need to get a majority vote from people to change it to saturday. If not it will have to stay on Sunday. The problem is that several of the people that signed up do not frequent the forums and may have forgotten about it altogether. I know of at least a few... I think of the regulars we already have a majority... I will wait another day or two to see if anyone has any major objections...

This is just my opinion (which usually stirrs up alot of emotion) but I would stick with the initial date. I can see a week from now people will want to switch again for whatever reason.

The thing is that we are losing A LOT of people to the race. The fact that we will have a very small bash on Sunday or a larger one on Saturday is a big factor. Seeing that most of us run nitro and Sunday is nitro day at the track... We set this dadte before LH was open remember...

The reason for the requested date change was not a spontaneous "Let's try a different day" issue. There is a Large group of people coming up from St Louis area, that a LOT of the people on this forum are friends with. Their reason for coming up here that weekend is to Race at Leisure. Since Nitro racing is on Sundays at Leisure, a bunch of us will not be able to make the Bash or Hooters if held on Sunday. If it is changed to Saturday, there is a chance that the St Louis guys would join us at Hooters and possibly the Bash if they get here early enough. The idea to change the date was only a suggestion, to make it easier for more people to make it. If it is Held on Sunday, I know for a fact, that at least 4-5 of the peple that signed up originally would not make it. If it is changed to Saturday, there could possibly be an additional 7 or 8 people joining in. So if the date gets changed, it would not be an issue of wanting a different date in a week.

It is looking like as or now Saturday is good for 11 people, Sunday is good for 6 people, and 5 haven't even confirmed yet. We are closer to a change now that we have some numbers. :-)
