Richard Petty Driving experience - 05-24-2008, 09:09 PM

The pics are out of order for some reason, but it was amazing regardless
I got to drive a 600hp nascar car at ~130 around a track, and had a hell of a time doing it. Got 8 laps. It was my first time ever driving standard too!
It was a graduation gift from my dad, it was the "rookie experience"

Yeah, it was the most amazing experience ever. And it was my first time driving standard, so that was quite funny, although I didn't stall it or burn the tires, thank god. I highly recomend this to everyone!

Starting at $399.

A customer friend of mine also attended a you-drive deal with Indy cars. You drive around 150-160mph, which in those cars feels like 300mph, and then they have a two seater Indy car that a pro driver pilots with you in the other seat, up to around 190mph, which he said was scary as hell.

Another great "fantasy exoerience" deal is the one where you get to fly planes and "dogfight" with other planes. My neighbor did that one a few years back and still talks about it like a little kid on Christmas morning.

Alas, all my spare change now gets sent to Augustana College to fund my student's future ;(

High Performance Manuals are easy to drive it Seems. Corvettes are cake, seems like you just let off the clutch and it idles lol. Only thing easier I experienced was a GMC 6500 Box Truck, manual with a big block. Geared so low all you had to do was let off the clutch and it was moving.

LSP lots of Khz, Werks .28 8 port.

Revo 2.5, TRX 3.3 Engine, Center Diff. Fast and Turns on a dime.

Kinda like semi-trucks. I drove a three axel tanker filled with fuel around a construction yard once (had to move it out from some barrels I was trying to get to). He didn't let me use the gas Kinda scary your first time. The ride was AMAZINGLY smooth though!
