I got a HD-DVD for xmas and have had a chance to watch a few movies in HD, and wow. I Like!
So far I have: Transformers Harry Potter OoTP King Kong Batman Begins Serenity (the firefly movie) Gotta say of all of them, King Kong, Batman Begins, and Serenity shine the most. Some amazing visuals, especially the wide angle shots. The sound is much better as well, with deeper bass, and their seems to be less sybalance (a high pitched S sound from speakers). Netflix is my friend though, I've got 300, Apollo 13, and TMNT on the way in HD-DVD. I figure in a few months I'll pick up a PS3 to take advantage of all the HD titles. Im holding out until the Duo format players drop in price...
right now some thing like this is around $800.. but it plays both.. BD-UP5000 Duo HD Player - Blu-ray SAMSUNG 1:1.. 01 Z28 Camaro A4 Sure.. its stock. 1:8's.. K3, Inferno GT, and a straight line beater car 1:18.. RC18t Mamba and 3s lipo
