I remember watching that, it was crazy lets set one up I'll take mine off of it as long as I make enough in donations to fix my car LOL

I say we turn my 93' Escort LX into a beater rally car. It'll be fun.

If anyone wants to donate a Cosworth RS driveline from over the pond I'm good to go. Eng/trans, f/r diffs. and a 12pt cage with 5pt belts I'm good to go.

I got the helmet and the drivers seat!

Watch this clip of rally races. Truly good stuff. I must say Rally is truly the most intense racing there is.

I found it funny that the guy said jumping the car was no big deal compared to the stress of racing past trees at 90mph....so what he's really saying is....

"I'm a racer, but BASHING is more fun and less stress."

ha, bashing will always be the FUN side of it.

Indeed, ultimate combination for me is 24hr access to a track, and no races to run. Makes a better driver out of anyone. With maybe some huge MotoX style jumps. I love big air.

But back to the the thing, Rally cars are one of the most exciting forms of autoracing to watch. So many things can go wrong in a run, and conditions can vary wildly from hour to hour, far more than on a prepped track.

I love Rally racing, and want to throw a STi IGT body on one of my buggies and wheel it around a track. Waterpits, dirt, tarmac etc... A little bit of everything in a lap.
