Aside from meatwad owning a 09 Camaro, they will easily hit 10's. The LS3 they will come stock with is going to spec out at 430hp. Add gears and slicks and you'll see 11's. Cam/headers on that (depending on how radical you get with the cam) and you could see 10's.
Could possibly just spray a stock LS3 09 Camaro into the 10's. Then again, the LS3 has just been announced, no idea how much the heads are flowing, or what the cam profile is like. It'll probably have 12* intake ports like the LS7 does now. Can't wait till GM starts getting serious about VVT geometry with the LSx series engines. The heads have enough flow to support some pretty radical cams, and variable cam technology would let them take advantage of it. They've already got the technology to do variable cam profiles in a single cam pushrod engine, the Viper has been using it for a while. i think he was saying with simple upgrades such as slicks, intake, nos, and cam would do the trick. and any average joe could scrape up the coin for that rather quickly |

I dunno Im 20 and I work for 8 bucks an hour, I don't forsee myself making good money, but that can always change sometime I guess. Revo 2.5, TRX 3.3 Engine, Center Diff. Fast and Turns on a dime. |

[quote=Thirdgen89GTA;160210] For people who just can't leave stuff stock. I know i can't. Why keep it stock when I can make it faster, handle better, etc... Sure, I don't go crazy, and I am limited by budget. Look at the people on this forum. Sure, we've got our "cheap" stuff, but we've also dumped thousands into the hobby. What sane person would spend a grand on a RC? None of us are sane.
