I just wanted to post some pictures from the drag event on the 19th!

There was everything from 1/18th to 1/5th scale cars! (Some really, really amazing 5th scales!)

the cvec pipe looks so cool coming out the side of that car!! i have to go next time.

yea, it was cool to see them on the line, and running with the smoke pouring out of there. Half of the fun for these guys is just having an amazing looking vehicle. The most impressive was that 5th scale beatle... in person, the blue was transparent so you could see the thousands of dollars spent on the inside.. it even had an electric start!

Some very nice looking RC's. I saw the pic of the beetle with the body off. Just sick! What are the main 1/5 on-roads right now??

FG and MCD are still the main 1/5ths. The guy with the beetle was telling me about he had some custom work done on that one, and it had a few 1 off parts that they are looking to bring into production, but at the time, it's the only one in the world like it! Crazy! I think he's a FG distributor here in the IL area.

I want one.. but seem to be about 3k short.
