Seen it! Engines are bad ass idle at 9,000 rpm and max out at 20,000 rpm

Most definitely, every F1 engine warm-up procedure is actually done by a computer. Notice, no driver in the car. There are a few others out there where you can see the titanium headers glow red hot and spew flames.

In the spirit of cool engine sounds here is the Renault F1 dyno simulation test. At its loudest point the engine is putting out 160dB!!!!
