Video of my Jammin CRT at local track - 04-11-2006, 09:31 PM

Here is some video footage of me out with my Jammin CRT literally seconds after finishing breaking it in using the heat cycle method. I gotta say this thing handles and drives so good I think my Revo might be shelfed for a while...Just wish I lived closer to Leisure so I could get out there more...

Welcome to the board. Im a little worried when you say seconds after the heat cycle was completed. I hope you turned the motor off and let it cool down before going out.

Of course the motor had a chance to cool in between cycles. What I ment was this was seconds after I got a good race tune after completing 3 tanks worth of heat cycling earlier in the day. I followed the Johnny Cool Guy break in to a T....same way I break in all my motors. Needless to say my OS 18TM in my revo is on its 8th gallon now and still runs strong. The jammin was holding a steady temp around 210 during my one pit stop 15 to 20 min aprox test sessions

Its actually a TNT Modded Force .28. Basically its the stock motor they use in the RTR but I took off the roto start and sealed it up and had it modded by TNT Mods....Running the stock gearing with a JP1 pipe and this thing had gobbs of power on the low end. Needs some work on the Diffs though, balooning the tires down the straights still even after strapping the tires and putting in 7000 in the front and 30000 in the center and 3000 in the rear for diff fluids. This is my first 1/8th scale so still learning all the set-up secrets, and it dont help when we watered the track about 10 times and it would dry out on top very fast since the track is so new. Not used to running outdoors on loose tracks, or tracks this small, but it was fun none the less...

Well I figured I got the Jammin CRT Pro kit off ebay new in box for 400 bux, then got the complete Force .28 with stock pipe and roto-start for 80 bux off ebay, two lightly used airtronics 358z servos for 100 for both off ebay, then sent the motor to TNT mods wich cost 120 including shipping.

So I have 700 bux into this so far *well more now that I put on a Z brace, diff oil, shock oil, all that junk* and the modded force seems to keep up with the name brand buggy motors so far, and I seem to get much better fuel mileage then the other guys do, and my temps are rock solid so far....I have a OS .21 VZ-B V-spec-t motor from my old buggy as a back up motor. Probably run the Force till it needs a new P/S then but the V-spec in for a while and see how it runs with that. Like I said Im new to racing 1/8th scale...Had a buggy before but only bashed it off of huge jumps at my buddy's MX track in his yard.

Racing from a roll is like beating off, it may be fun but its not the real thing.
