I finally got a starter box:

Knowing how to use it was not included:

I got a new (used) motor also. OS VZB w/ novarossi bearings. 1.3gal old.

I havn't gotten a chance to run it yet because as usual my peice of shit dubro glow ignitor was dead despite the fact I just charged it 2 days ago.

no, that happened cause I left it spinning because im using a worthless peice of garbage of a glow ignitor that says its charged when it really isnt.

I got it running... and had a run away. My motor mount is shot.

How am I gonna explain this one. I've destroyed more shit in my backyard with this CRT in about a gallon, then I ever did with my maxx.

I'm sure a little bit of that green i've been throwing around will make up for it.

That pic is priceless!! Hopefully that motor runs well for you. (And that sticker looks good on the box. Custom made by tune and installed by freeride.) As for the runnaway... cant help you.

Runaway = low Rx battery? failed failsafe?

I had a bad runaway with my Maxx because the Rx pack died and you need electricity for any type failsafe to operate correctly. I'd suggest fabricating some kind of throttle return spring set up. It must be strong enough to over-ride your servo in case of any power loss.

It was a combo of my RX pack dieing, JR servo glitching, and servo horn coming off.
