u cant run that in SMT, it has an 1/8thscale drive train, diffs are above the chassis etc...

They are very vague at LHR about what runs in what class. They let truggies run in SMT if they don't have a center diff. Yet they let a center diff revo run in SMT also. Basically you just ask the race director what class you are in and he'll tell you.

Wow... I think technically you could run it in SMT. I would get a center diff though and run it in UMT.
I figured out the binding problem in the steering if you were wondering... Both CVD's are actually bent and they hit the hub carrier when you turn. I ordered them today and should have them for the weekend. I also got oil to rebuild the shock, a new wing, antenna tube, charger for the starter box... I will be getting the SB tonight so I should be RTR soon. Now can you race the same truck in UMT and SMT??? Seeing that it is kind of vague as to where you would be??? |
