I have no problem with running till 2AM LOL... Yes,I might live 30 minutes away. But those out-of-town people either have a camper or hotel. And I bet they are closer to the track then I am.

Most of us delt with it this year with the RC pro series. Late nights and early mornings.

IMO-If this is going to be a big race,then treat it and make it that way. Anything less makes it seem like a overblown club race.

Those "overblown club races" like the Ill. Pro Series, Wis. Pro Series and MWNX Series were very successful one day races. LH would do well to realize that a lot of people are not interested in 3 day races. They are simply too expensive and not as fun.

By strictly limiting entrants a special one day race can be completed in a reasonable amount of time and be profitable for the track. They sure were for all of the tracks in Wisconsin that hosted these types of races.

But bruce,those IL series races were lucky to get over 100 people. I dont think that is the turnout bernie wants. The more,the better..

There is nothing wrong with these types of races. If there were,then this race and others like it wouldnt be around.

My point was that with the times selected,it does seem like a normal club race with the times set for the mains. Just made longer to cover 2 days,3 if you include practice on friday.

Yes,it being two days might keep some people away from racing. But chances are,with as late as a one day event would go. Most would get a hotel room anyway so they wouldnt be driving home at 1am. I honestly dont think the amount of days really effects the turnout THAT much,yes it could be a handfull of people. But make or break a race? Highly doubt it.
