landing on power on the downslope of a landing jump can mean tremendous added speed also.
I land on power all the time, multiple times per lap. Doesn't work for everyone but the fast guys do it j/kI also let off the gas before exiting the launch jump most of the time. Otherwise the front end comes up to much and I generally like it to nose down to prepare for the landing side. With the big MT tires in air throttle adjustments are very touchy. |

It's because their not landing on all four tires AND are hitting the gas. It causes the truck to get even more unstable, then they freak and smash the brakes, and then they begin the acrobatic act of tumbling.
