UEmaxx, we all get frustrated sometimes. Your still a beginner, don't get discouraged so easily.
One of the reason why your truck breaks all the time is because you wreck all the time, and I know why. I was watching you in a couple of your Quals/Race and you are trying to go too fast. Slow down and instead of trying to be so fast, try and just be smooth and flowing. If you can't hit the double in front of the drivers stand 80% of the time, don't try and clear it! You will break. You don't need to SKY off the tabletops, that's not the fast way around. Next time you come out Steve, I will take your truck around the track a few times and see how it drives then give you some track/driving tips that will help you out. ![]() |

Most of my problem is my steering. I don't what it is. I am using the servo that came with the DX3. I have to take the tight turns slow. I am not going to spend $100 or more on a good servo. Instead I am most likely putting it towards another vehicle.
Another is my shocks. You felt them yesterday. I don't want to dump anymore money into this truck. |

he told me the same thing, I kept breaking but then he watched me run a few laps and he said to slow down and drive smooth. believe it or not when I was doing that I started to pass people up. also you arent any faster in the air. your wheels are what push your car but when you have all 4 wheels in the air then all you have is air resitance which slows you down. you cant control your ride to good in the air. just keep practicing. I am not saying im a pro because hell I have only been there 3 times, but by listening to tex and other guys at the track I have learned a lot. Losi 8ight with v-spec

I go really slow and I noticed two things, a) people run into the back of me and usually knock their own RC over and b) I was able to drive around a lot of accidents
![]() One person did tell me that I hit the wall way to much at the end of the strait but it's hard to see with the marshall standing in the way, I need to learn how to use my brakes much better. UEMaxx a Hitec 645 is relatively inexpensive. |

I hear that people say Hitec's are junk.
I also have the problem of my truck eating spurs. After the main my brand new spur has NO teeth left. I don't know what that problem is either. Mesh is good and and the engine isn't moving. I backed off the slipper 1/2 a turn. |

Just go slow. As Mike Czech would say "Slow is fast". (And everyone else would I just remember him telling me) When I chilled I was turning fast and consistant lap times in stock form. I got a tad antsy with the new motor and if I went through the turns at all quick it would push like crazy... Slow down and you will be fine. If you need to roll a jump do it. It's better than breaking...
