I only have one reason to not like a huge jump; marshall safety. At the old leisure track, when they had THE big jump, I was standing in the track pits under the drivers stand and got nailed in the thigh by a guy with an smaxx....with a .26. Lets just say I was limping around for the next week and went to the chiropractor two times in the week, instead of the normal once a month. So I really, really wouldn't like a big juump unless it's on the back straight. Woah! Just thought of something; bernie should make a huge wallride part on the back straight so that you can fly into the turn at the end lol...

The problem with a berm is that most tracks build them and they just take up space, u have to make it so it is absolutely necessary to hit the berm to make the jump other wise its dum. alot of outdoor tracks have used the berm/banked turn thing and its useless. If nayone could do it bernie could lol

ok i got my motor and got it flushed out, reoiled the crankshaft and all the goodies inside. Got my os carb on there and clutch assembly so right now im just waiting for the carb seal to dry before i break it in. Break in is going to majorly suck. Its got so much pinch i cant turn it over by hand with the flywheel.

ok got a half a tank through it. Peice of crap traxxas equipment. Gave me a fresh damn motor with a burned out glow plug stock. I thought i was a freaking retard trying to start this motor. Oiled to hell, running so rich it wont idle. Put in one of my trusty mccoy 59 plugs and instantly fired up. Temps started out at 213 but as it got to the half way mark in the tank temps kept dropping and ended up at 150 untill i shut it down. Cooling head wrapped in foil and all. Whats up with that. Anyways os carb is working miracles. I can already see an improved idle vs my previous 2.5. Wont notice any power untill sunday when i will be able to let on the gas some. So far so good. Its a mutha trying to get those temps up tho

I hear ya. I had to lean out the 4.6 motor I was breaking in like crazy just to get it to 200*. With the factory settings it would barely break 110*. LOL, it was so rich that you could easily see the fuel almost pouring out of the muffler.

i have no needle settings for the os carb on the 2.5. I just richened it up 2 turns and started it. I think it takes about 15 seconds for pinching the fuel line to cut out the engine. high end is majorly rich. Looks like an old pick up truck burning oil goign down the road. Thats ok tho plenty of lube and the starting temps are above 200 so its all good. Just cut the run times down to half a tank now.
