Getting back from practice at the track.....
I was there with RyanC (son) this afternoon. What a buzz!!! Anywhere from 10-20 trucks and buggys at a time. Got to see a lot of wicked trucks running and conduct some business! Ryan wanted to get the Revo on the track, but it was chaos out there. It got so tangled that we jumped in and started marshalling just to avoid seeing those two young kids getting killed! I'm sure it was none of you guys, but OMG, people WILL NOT stop giving it the gas when they are on their lid and I'm reaching to HELP them. I got to the point where I would just stand there looking down at it until the wheels stopped turning at full throttle. Here's a tip to those guys....buggys will not flip over if you give it full throttle. And those other guys....giving it full throttle will not uncouple your MT when the buggy you're humping has it's wing stuck in your wheel well! This was practice, not the Nationals! I can't imagine marshalling a big race. They must be insane. To anyone who had a complaint about any of my marshalling, sorry, I'm a volunteer-in-training. If your truck stalled before we got to it, just remember, it was practice. We still had fun helping when we could. Saw lots of great action, and got to meet Bernie! Bernie, I'll say it again...Thanks for building such a fantastic facility. We look forward to carpet racing the Mini and On Roading with the TC's. Like I said, stock heavy on Revo parts because next time....Ryan's driving. He'll be the one with the Excel Driving School bumper sticker on the truck. Good to see the Chitown guys out there today! Until next time. Dave |

Hey dave...lol I was one of the guys that thought that if I revved the throttle that it'd flip back over.......Some reason it was lacking on lowend punch...enough topend, but not enough low end...Just a note, crimefighters work semiwell, if you like grip enough so that you can get some power down, but also if you like to punch the throttle and slid around the corner....y'all on channels 1-6 be careful...dan was having serious glitching because some stupid bum wouldn't get off the channel....My buggy didn't like me....Died out if I wasn't fast enough to get up the drivers stand....Then one time I had it bumped up against the side of the pit lane, went up the stairs expecting it to stay there. I got up there, and my buggy was all the way up to the window! I'm like,,,jeez, people should leave stuff alone. And then people would just stand around the pits under the drivers stand and not move so I could get to the starter box....or they'd move it the second I'd step away then come back and have to move stuff and get setup again....losers....Mmmm Pizza is good, John you owe Dan and me 1.17 each for covering your butt...lol...I think my brakes might be draggin....not sure...I'll check tonight.l8r...

I had a question....was it hard to see the first corner at the left end of the front straight when guys are standing along the short wall between the pits and the door? I found myself watching from there but then it felt like drivers might not be able to see the corner. Can you?
