I recently recieved a new mach .15 after breaking the engine in I let it sit for about 2 months. there was no fuel in the tank or engine. now when i try to start the car it seems that i am not getting compression. if i take the plug out it seems to compress. i had a leaky fuel tank and replaced that. still nothing. any thoughts or ideas??

Check that a head shim isn't folded up bent crumpled etc.

it would appear as though my spin-start backplate was broken
