I took the backplate off, put a ziptie in the exhaust outlet through a port, and the sleeve isn't coming out?! (also tried heating it up)

On a side note: Got the piston, sleeve, and crank shaft out....How do I get the bearings out? I was born under the hood of a 68 FastBack, Synthetic 10w-30 in my veins, 120 octane in my bottle, Nitrous Oxide for adrenalin and a Blower for a soother |

its not that easy.
the best way to get them out really is with a bearing puller. you can just tap the front out but if u use the puller on the rear bearing its useless. you can put it in the oven at like 300 for 15 minutes or so and try tappin the case against a cutting board or something but i never was very succesfull in that lol www.czech-it-out-graphics.com 1/29/07 never forget....TTT ![]() Bringing old know-it-all blow hards back to reallity at a forum near you "Always Imitated, Never Duplicated" |
