starter box for X1-CrT - 02-15-2007, 06:46 AM

So, it looks like most guys are telling me to get this box...........Is this the same as the AE Rc10gt / TC3 box? Just curious because they look similar, and the AE is cheaper I believe......this TTR box is $78 @ A-main..........tell me whats up and If Im headed in the right direction with this purchase for my X1-CrT

is the AE box the same thing?? its cheaper, and right now cheaper is definitely up my alley

its the same but it doesnt has the cutouts on the sides to hold a tuning screw driver or a glow igniter

thats ok, I modified a mini mag lite sheath to accomodate my ignitor, and a tuning screwdriver can be taken care of easily enough........Im going with the AE box then, thx Rocco

the TT boxes used to be cheaper just like ace servos were dirt cheap then everyone started getting them and price went up lol

One note with this box, you cannot use 2 front pegs, because of the chassis design. The chassis is too wide.

I would look in to the mugen box, that is what I used for my crt. Or you can use this box but can only use 1 peg up front.

you could always get the ofna chrome top with a tko plate, I never got one, but its easy enough to use it. but with the gel cel in it, its a little heavy
