Mc's are good. IMO
I've ran them for years. They last and provide good performance when the motor is tuned right of course.

I run MC8's. Work good, and easy to get.

4-5 should last about the life of the motor!

mc-9's are too cold pf a plug IMO....i used them once and they sucked, but thats my experience......maybe thats why you used to blow glow plugs all the time ue-maxx?

Yeah I would go to an MC8, it's a better all around plug, it works good in all conditions, not just some conditions like a cold plug.

Yeah, it depends on the engine and what nitro % you use also.
In previous engines (SH.28 & Mach .26) I used to run MC9's with 30% and they worked fine.
Then in the P5, I found the OD99 to be a much better plug then the MC's.
Now in the V-spec, the OS turbo plugs that seem to last forever, Im on my second gallon with the original plug
