Yeah.... I don't think it's too hig of nitro content here. I am going to go with the fact that that sensor isn't off by that much and it has been run lean for some time now. If it were rich, even if it hadn't run in a week or so, the plug would still be oily. That isn't the case. My vote.... Lean.

It's focusing on the flash. Turn off the flash, and hold the plug under a regular light. Also, don't hold the camera too close. Turn on the Macro setting, and use the Zoom to get the close up.
