I was looking over the instructions and noticed that Novarossi does not give any (base) needle settings, is this common among the higher end engines? I know that they're set on a flow bench at the factory, but some settings would have been nice when it comes time to re-tune. Any ballpark settings will be appreciated

The best thing i would say is start it up and see if it will run... If it runs but the temps wont get too 200 degress lean it just a lil and wrap the head in foil or a sock...

Keep tunning till you reach your desired break-in temp. After your break in cycle is finished tune for power .... After that turn your needles and count the turns ... That would be your settings
