The stock one does a good job.

I am going to get the mugen, but not for a maxx. I am using the OS 203 air cleaner with the cv-r

The motor saver is a good filter, but it does suffer from one problem. The end cap can vibrate loose, and fall out, letting the filter element fall out, thus the nickame "MotorWrecker" This is easily remedied though. Take an old pair of womens Nylons (Wives, Mothers, etc.), cut out the toe, and stretch it over the end of the motorsaver and ziptie it down. If the endcap does vibrate loose, it will not fall away, and will still keep the filter element in place.

Mugen filters are very good, but cost a bit more.

The Savage HD filter is a very good filter also. It is a direct copy of the Ofna 2 stage filter.

Actually, motor saver remedied the problem with the end cap coming off. They also gave people (at least me) a free end cap because I had one of their "older" filters.

Here's a link to it: http://www.motorsaverfilters.com/8ofcp.htm

Mugen filters are like $9-10. Actually they are one of the cheapest.
