Throttle Servo - 02-16-2008, 10:01 AM

Im upgrading tonight, JR Z8800S Or Z9100S. 104oz / 150 oz, and both are .8 speed. Opinions? It's going in a revo. Also does anyone know if they sell a weaker Throttle return spring, the one on there is super strong and slows down my throttle. Thanks.

LSP lots of Khz, Werks .28 8 port.

Revo 2.5, TRX 3.3 Engine, Center Diff. Fast and Turns on a dime.

I bought some of those return springs before and they were the same way, too tight. So i just use a rubberband. And the servo, you may as well just go for the stronger one incase you ever need a steering servo or something, since they are the same speed.

its same strength as my 650z, just faster. The high torque is actually significantly slower. I wont run without a return spring, I'll see if I can find something that will work. On a buggy I'd use a rubberband but the linkage on a revo is diff, Dont think it will work.

Get a losi throttle return spring. They are pretty soft (especially compared to the trx one) but they work well.

If I may add my two cents. It's not a throttle servo, it's a brake servo. It takes little efort to open the throttle but a lot of effort to apply the brake. More torque is the way to go. and be sure to set the end point. O K I'm done.

Yeah, after a little more research I discovered, I read wrong. The torque @ 6 Volts is like 180, with a .07 transit speed.

I never thought of it like that Bernie, you're right Lol. Sadly I just figured out how to set end-points on my radio, LOL
