I orderd a ofna starter box. the wide one it takes a 12v battery i believe.
What kind of battery do i need.

My gel cell lasts two weekends of racing on one charge, that includes the whole week between sitting in my 50 degree garage.
It could probably go longer but I just charge it up anyway to make sure its good to go

what brand and type gel cell battery do you use?
And will it fit in the ofna starter box.

the stick packs have more power and torque first of all, they are lighter, last longer and are easier to charge and deal with. I know ive been down both roads gell cells blow

it will fit i have had both styles of box

and i havnet had a dead box once since switching to stick packs at the beginning of this season, same batteries

just pick up a duratrax pirhanana charger, off ebay, or brand new for like $45
