My bud's SS powers up, it just won't "bind" or whatever with the RX and motor.

Basically the dude he bought it from used 14.4 volts on it and it was very fast for about 1 minute. Now it doesn't work. And it pushed an E-maxx to boot so there is quite a bit of weight difference from say...a rusty

cool. i have an account from work, but we dont buy enough chips from one dist. so we dont get the discount. let me look at his esc and see what i see. ill shoot you the part numbers when i work it out.some of the components are stupid tiny and with out the right machine i cant (with out a shit load of work) get it off and solder a new one on. let me take a look tho, hope fully the dude he bought it from just got it too hot and blew a transistor or some larger component.

addicted, i may or may not be able to fix them. novak usally has weak points in the esc to prevent a major prob, but sometimes (usally with newer esc's) the weak point it way too tiny for my sausages to get a hold of! lol i know the prob with mine, i tried a ghetto fix that lasted a few min so im positive i can fix it. tex's boy's esc may bo toast, but we will see!

tex i can also try it with another bl motor to make sure dude didnt toast the motor.
