My RX pack went up in smoke, I tried a different pack with the receiver and the pack hot real fast, has anyone's spek receiver shorted out ever or do you have a way to fix it? Thanks

Did you check the polarity of the plug? The Red wire should be on the center and the Black should be on the outer pin.

anytime that has happened (once) to me the battery ended up smokin' all my servos and my RX. It was a sad day when you watch $200+ dollars go up in smoke

Horizon's got a good warrenty system. I'd send it in and say with an explanation of whats happening. Make sure to tell them that the black wire is on the outside so they know you aren't screwing up the polarity.

Good news! I guess my throttle servo's wires are shorting, but when I don't have the throttle servo plugged in EVERYTHING works fine!!! Yes!!!
And the throttle servo now works if I pull the wires apart where they're soldered.
