AHHH! Where's the antenna go @ ?!?!?!!?!? - 05-04-2006, 07:05 PM
On the spektrum reciever? I got mine used and the antenna was pulled out!!! It looks like it might have gone on the top circuit board, between the 2 chrome patches???



Please help....I want to use this!

I'd send it in to be repaired, it'll take a while to get back though though. Soldering it has produced some bad effects for people, and it will void the warranty.

Spektrum antennas are weak, i'm glad i have a backup.

Dam! It don't work after about 20-30 feet!!!
What should I do? Unsolder and send in, leave it and explain and send in, or sell as is on ebay???

Or wait no the guy who I bought it from is going to get an earfull!

it isnt just a soder on. i checked mine and its almost like a small coaxial there is an outer and an iner wire. you should see a little plug in where it goes.

Bill, the reciever is soldered on, the tx has that coax thing going on.

Mich, you stated 2 different things for the rx. Is it soldered or a plug? I'm still confused.

So I should just send it in and hope for the best?

It's a good thing my b-day is in less than 15 days, I can use some bday money to pick up another reciever.

I know, that was the easy part. The range SUCKS NOW though, I put my truck with a phone (so I could hear if the servos were reacting) out back of my house and I was on the other phone, and I didn't make it 5 feet out my front door and I had no response from my truck.
