Just get some rechargables. I've got some 2300ma energizers (i think their higher now) and they last a long time.

I just got the Energizer 15 minute charger with 12 2500 mah batteries. I use them in my Specktrum DX3 and receiver. They do pretty good and last in the receiver quite long. In the transmitter they drain fast but usually slow down at around 10.8v after about 2 days. I found they hold a better charge if you put them on over night, but the charger only does 4 at a time.
