Building Revo A-Arms - 12-07-2008, 08:15 AM

Has anyone ever tried to build a set of A-arms for a car or truck out of 7075 or 6061 aluminum tubing? I am trying to shed sprung weight and this is a tough call because the plastics are light, but I am planning on changing the suspension dimensions, so if anyone has tried this let me know, any help would be great!

I never thought of making A-arms before, but i have made thin metal gas tanks for my t-maxx and seems to work really well.
