Speaking of screws, I thought I'd share my opinion.

For two years I used crap screws, one set of dynamite drivers lasted the entire 2 years.

The last two years I've used Tony's Screws (12.9 grade steel, black oxide). I have went through two Hudy sets of drivers since then, and I'm on my 3rd set (set=1.5, 2.0, 2.5mm) currently (bought these used from mich and they are about shot as well)

Point being, Tony's screws are SO hard and tough that they chew through hex drivers. I know your next question, YES I'm making sure the hex driver is seated all the way in the screw, the drivers are not getting worn from misuse. They are getting worn from normal use and at an excellerated rate I might add.

Maybe you should go back and try Dynamite drivers again??....
Ive had my Dynamite drivers since I ran the LST.
Then I started using Tony's Screws when I bought my LSP way back when.
Now I have Tony's Screws in my ST-R since it was new in April....and Im still using my same Dynamite drivers from over two years ago with no problems

I would buy the DYN again but they are too short for my liking. I like the longer hex drivers, they reach stuff easier without you hand knocking against other things while turning the driver.

I found the best screws are made of tempered glass. They rock! You will need a good set of silicone hex drivers though.

You know, I never thought about Tony's screws like that. I bet that's the reason my hex drivers are wearing out.

nah my tonys screws are screwing up both my hex's and the screws, time for new tools

I know some of the guys around our area still are using regular tools, but are also using one of those powered drivers. they cost about 20 bucks and are made by craftsman, or you can find them at harbor freight. then you buy a set of bits for another 20 bucks and your good to go. you can adjust the clutch on the tool, so it doesn't put to much torque on the screws

i've got some losi drivers, and they have lasted 4 years with no sign of wear
