I need a canopy for races. The one I got (which is going back to Target) requires stakes. You guys know what I need, who has one for sale

Define requires stakes. Are they needed to keep the top on or something?

I picked up me ez-up from sports authority. It was on sale

Saved like $40 or something

Only time stakes are required for these is during windy days to keep you canopy from flipping over.

u will want stakes thats what keeps it from blowing away...

That's what I'm looking for, no one used stakes at the race I was at.

I've seen folks use old gallon milk jugs filled with sand or water tied onto the legs for ballast.

On non-windy days you don't need them. But when the wind picks up (not uncommon in chicago) you better get those spikes in! I've seen them flip over rather quickly when gusts of wind start kicking in.

Found a good deal on Amazon. Nice part is I'm selling my blackberry which I think will pay for it.
