R/C gas cars and electric car plus accessories "DEAL OF A LIFE TIME" - 06-12-2007, 08:20 PM

Well guys here is my story, I am a 36 year old guy, I live in Plainfield IL, and I haven’t played with my cars in a few years. I just don’t have the interest in them anymore. Have new hobbies now.

GET READY for a DEAL of a life time. At the time I built these up I spent THOUSANDS on my 2 gas cars. And a few huno on the electric which started the whole money pitfall as you guys know how It is..hahaha

Here is the info for the cars that I am putting up for sale.

RC10gt “was a ready to go” 10th scale rear wheel drive, but I gutted everything in search of SPEED, hahaha once I got the car so FAST traction was an issue, so I bought the MP-6 and that thing is a 4wheel ROCKET that sticks!!!!

1ST car

RC10GT
Frame: aluminum
Engine :OS CV-R engine “maybe had 2 gallons through it?”
Steering servo: Airtronics #94257 “FAST servo”
Receiver: hitech #has-2mb, 2 channel
Rear drive shafts are Titanium
Muffer: mid range boost muffler
ALSO comes with a 5 cell battery pack. 1000mah I believe
ALSO comes with 4-N-1 clutch
ALSO the rear bulk head & rear suspension mounts were upgraded to aluminum

2nd car

Inferno MP-6 “1/8 scale” 4 wheel drive buggy.
Frame: aluminum
Engine: OS .21 RZ-V99B WITH paris racing airfilter “MAYBE ½ gallon through it”
Steering servo: Airtronics #94257 “FAST servo”
Throttle and break servo: Airtronics #94257 “FAST servo”
Receiver: futaba R123f “3 channel” micro
ALSO comes with a digital engine temp meter
ALSO comes with Kyosho Femca-521 muffler
ALSO comes with 5 cell battery pack 1000mah I believe
NEEDS rims as I forgot to buy some new ones when I bought 2 SETS of tires for it “see below”

3rd car
RC10T ELETRIC
REBEL TEKIN, with reverse
Motor: I forgot what type electric motor is in there unless I take it apart.
ALSO comes with : 2 each-Sanyo Rc-1700 7 cell hump packs
2 each-Sanyo 1400 7 cell hump packs
1 each-Futaba Nr-5j servo batter pack 500MAH

ALL the extra goodies!!!!!

Radios:

1- Futaba, Magnum Junior
1- Hitech,Lynx
1- Airtronics, XL2p
All of those are steering type radios
All with set of frequency chips

TIRES AND WHEELS:
4- each RC10 crome plated BLING BLING wheels “hahaha” with off road tires 50% used”
4-each RC10 plastic wheels with street tires “20% used”

TIRES for the MP6 “1/8 buggy”
NEW 4 each off road tires + foam inserts
NEW 4 each street tires + foam inserts

STARTER BOXES:

1- OFNA racing starter box for the 1/8 buggy
1- 1/10 scale starter box

SPARE PARTS GALORE!!!!

There is a couple boxes of spart parts. “you get the boxes too!!”
Bearings of all kinds for the cars, bolts, extra transmitter crystals, tie rods, buckles, tie end, Gears and GEARS of different teeth size, 3-4 glow igniters, glow plug chargers and battery pack charger, there is about 200-300 ALONE worth of spare parts!!!!

Mind you I know the prices on used RC cars goes down the tubes after you buy it, let alone use it! You can clearly see I had ATLEAST 3000.00 worth of stuff here!

READY FOR THE DEAL OF A LIFE time.

400.00 bucks! TAKES ALL!!!
I will not part it out, I will not gut the cars.
Be smart about it, buy it all and turn around and make a few hundred more if you want to resell it all.
I just don’t have the time to mess with selling petty parts here or there nickel and dime everything.

Cash and carry or PLEASE e-mail me if you have any questions about the parts or if this forum allows go ahead and ask what you want to know. I am honest about anything.
In fact I am charging all the batteries up here and plan to spin the motors a little bit with afterrun oil, like I have each month for the last 2 years when I am done running it OR just making sure the motor stays nice.

p.s. you guys can clean the dust off the cars for the low price I am offering all of this. The price speaks for itself.

Thanks

Ken

Just FYI your "rc10GT electric" is actually an rc10T. You may want to clean these all up and post pictures of them clean. It gives us all a better idea of what we would be getting.

thanks guys. i fixed that electric rc10t, its been so long i dont remember what version it was.

like i said if you guys have any questions, just asked away or for a faster response please e-mail me.

i started both cars up today and drove the rc10gt for a couple minutes. it needs some tuning, and i forgot which way to go leaner in or out. so i just shut it down. then i started the mother "mp6" and the roar was remind full of how loud this monster was , couldnt drive her though cause i don't have rims for it, just 2 sets of tires.

i was SO CLOSE to ordering up some rims today go get some fresh fuel and glow plugs...then i remembers HEY your selling this stuff, dont fall back into love with it hahahaha

thanks for the suggestions.

the way i look at it is, 300.00 for each gas car, get a free rc10t for shits and giggles in the house, 2 starter boxs and not to mention some good quality on board parts. and a crap load of spare parts and 2 sets of new tires for the 1/8 scale.

to me its a deal and a 1/2! even in todays market!

Not to clutter up your thread (sorry Tune) But the RC10GT you'll be lucky to get $150 rtr for it, the 1/8th buggy maybe $200-250 for it, and the RC10T at the most $50-60. Just to help, you'd be better selling everything seperate. Try selling all 3 on www.dirtoval.com Just sell each seperate and ya might just get lucky, the GT will go quick, the buggy would be good for what they're doing with them in the dirt oval scene, and the RC10T would be good for someone that needs parts cause the trans in it only fit's the RC10T only (at least tranny case wise) Hope this helps ya in your sales!
Good luck!
Matt

RC stuff does not hold any value, Kyosho cars are updated about every 6 months and the hard core racers sell and buy new. The MP6 is good for bashing now or like said dirt oval.

Gas truck is pretty much dead for the offroad scene, maybe indoors but outside its either buggy or truggy.

will do thanks for the suggestions guys.

wow prices and the scene has really changed.

anyone of you guys interested in the stuff then?

if not i think i will play with them , use up the motors for a bit, then sell them for that cheap.

the motors are ultra fresh, so i might as well get some use from them before selling them for a song.

Sell this stuff on Ebay, but wipe the dust off first.

No offense to anyone here, but there are much better places to sell things. If its not the flavor of the month, its garbage around here.
