Buggy came yasterday. Besides the chassis therear drive cups are worn pretty badly but I see some new ones in a ziploc bag plus a whole new diff, dogbones, and alot of other spares. I didnt have a chance to really go threw it yesterday. Tonight Ill do a teardown and see how everything is. Im sure after a good wrench session it'll be fine...

Well you ripped me off pretty good. Hope you still sleep well at night. First off this buggy is not a real MBX5R. Looks like you started off with a MBX5 then upgraded as needed. At least take the old MBX5 parts out of the bags and if doing the upgrades to scam someone, do them all. Second is there is not one KingHedz part on this car as you stated in your post. I guess Chris King at our track should know what he makes, right? 3rd you stated that everything has been replaced or can be replaced with parts included. Center dog bones are wiped out, most drive cups are bad, dont know the name but the ends that mount to the pinion gears for center drive shafts are worn bad, front hinge pin is bent, and im sure the list goes on from there but im too pissed to keep looking. You told me the chassis has some wear but could keep going for a little longer. Come on , you didnt state that you needed to dremmel out a screw and that the front of chassis is also worn so badly that ill need to replace the front lower hinge pin brace (which probable is not R either). You need to do something about this crap. I paid you top dollar for a car that you made out was well maintained and a MBX5R. I want to send this back for a refund of my money but how could I trust you to do that if you cant even discribe your buggy correctly. You have my number and I hope you feel the need to make this right...

sorry kev.......he just posted on rc-tech he would send money back if you sent car back......alot of the parts are the same from the mbx5 and the 5r, is the servo saver spring on top of the rack like your truck or the bottom? does it have the new shocks with screw on ends? thats all i can think of off hand to make sure it is 5r....towers and ackerman are different too, ackremann should look like your truck also, but as far as mbx5 parts the cvd's and stuff like that are the same and the package may just say mbx5......still sucks thi bro.

Its does have the new shocks, akerman, servosaver. Old ones are in the bags as"spare parts". Does not have new servo plate standoff, brake rotor guides or diffs that are able to accept the small O rings that no one uses. That just made me mad to know I paid for a r and didnt get one. Then theres the KingHedz parts and all the wear on drive cups and center bones. To fix it up with parts Id spend more that a new one costs. Anyway, he makes out like he a used RC salesman and was discribing as he was told and didnt know the diffrence between prospec and r. He seems to want to make me happy and is very sorry and doesnt want his Rep tarneshed. We'll see. It will either be all fixed or one of those life experiences you hate to learn from...

just saw this in person. it has fake king headz crap and the drive cups are shot
