with this start box work with the 8ight RTR chassis? I am getting an OS 30vg for it and I'll buy this box if it works with the RTR chassis

No, it doesnt' come with batteries.

I have an 8ight and it is a little hard to setup, but you could probably get it to work.

Its my 30vg that he's getting. He's seen it run the jammin, driven the jammin, and wants a big motor for bashin. And I doubt he's gonna get something with as much power as my 30 for the price.

Besides, the Jammin's getting a 528xr. Call me mad, power mad.

I don't think you can use a gel cell. Stick packs would be better to turn that motor over anyways.
