FYI: Nylint crawlers 50 bucks! -
05-25-2006, 02:58 PM
I just wanted you guys to know that I found the 1/6 and 1/16 Nylint rock crawlers at the Wal*Mart in Forest Park, on Roosavelt & DesPlains Rd.
They are reduced to about 50 bucks and there were at least 4 left after I bought Mine .They are hard to find now so get yours while you can. If you don't live in the area and would like me to get one for you and bring it to the Berwyn Bash, let me know. |

I would like one if they have one other than the org jeep or the yellow scorpion. Like the red scorp or something. Can you check which generation they are for me if you get the chance?

I was there today, 5/25/06 and I saw 3 orange jeeps and one yellow scorpion.
Mine appears to be a 3rd or 4th generation. I am not sure how to tell those two apart by the bump stops. Okay, I got it. Its a 3rd generation. |

Well, I went to Wally world on my lunch break to get the jeep, and double checked the axles to make sure what generation. Sadly, the remaining 1/6 crawlers are all 1st generation with rivets and pins and non-reinforced axles. So I did not buy another since you already have one of those. I got really lucky with mine I guess. The one I bought was on the R/C shelf, while the others were toward the back of the store.
But I suppose if you dont care how old they are, 50 bucks is still a good price for a giant rock crawler R/C. |
