what you get know that your selling?

Nothing yet. I'm not racing, so the Buggy is just sitting. I want to get a bashable/raceable MT.

Revo

It looks like I'm getting a Revo and a Cen MT for it... The Cen MT will probably just get resold.....

what does the revo have worth mentioning as far as hopups?

Not much, mostly stock. I'm not too worried about lots of upgrades, because I'm not going to be racing that often, when I do, it'll just be for fun. As it sits now, the TTR has just been sitting, I've been borrowing Firesprinks trucks when we bash.


BTW, Tex, have you heard anything from your work? After today, I'm on "vacation"

I'm a diehard Revo guy but I've got to admit that the Monster GT's did very well at the US Monster Truck Championships in Dallas. A very good basher/racer.

for a good racers its mostly driving skillz.

25% setup

90 driver, 10 setup. IMO

newguy, my work is weird, one day they say they need people and the next week they say, nevermind. We Todds! I'm sure they will call you if they are interested.

As for Driver/Setup, I pretty much agree with Tex on that. In a race where everything is equal (Truck, engine, pipe, gearing) with the only differences being in adjustments, I'd say 90/10 also. When you try and put a RTR engine against a modified, then there is a little more swing on the setup side.... Take 2 relatively equal drivers, give one a Revo with a 2.5 and one a revo with an os18, the engine will make a huge difference...

sometimes faster motors make people wreck more.

well when you think about geaing, tires, suspension setup, even bodies for some people then a lot becomes setup. Once you got a good setup its all about keeping it on the track.
