Man after watching some of those crash videos I dont think I would want to invest that kinda money into helis. Some of those things were completely totaled after the crash.

I've seen some cars/trucks get pretty messed up from crashes as well. It's get very expensive when stuff goes very wrong.

Imagine losing signal and your truck goes full throttle, with no control. I know 2 people that it happened to. With the money invested in our truck/cars, wrecking those can cost as much as wrecking a heli easily.

First thing installed on my truck, Venom Failsafe .

My brother in law had to chase his truck through a field by his house and I didnt want to have to do the same so I got the failsafe.

I was surprised to learn that if you fly anything at an r/c airfield, you have to carry insurance on it. Thats for just incase you lose control and a plane/heli hits something or someone.

I'd be more worried about hitting someone with a heli, I've seen injuries from runaway helicopters, and they're not pretty.

I'll join the AMA one of these days.

My flying skills? I'd be much better if the heli would leave the ground .

with the simulator that I bought, I can get the helicoter off the ground, but I have trouble "steering" it, for lack of a better term. Once the 'copter goes off in once direction, i can't seem to get it back.

I can hover for only a few seconds. I really haven't put any flight time into it lately, though.
