xmods evo(gen 2) -
11-27-2005, 08:21 PM
first off im thenewguy jr, and i have a fully decked out gen. 1 xmod(carbon fiber decks front and rear, clear chassis, steering upgrade, suspension upgrade, stage 2 motor, aluminum wheel nuts, and bodykit.) and i raced it against my bone stock gen. 2(evo) f150, and the f150 won the race by approx. 5-10 ft. the gen. 1 had a 3 second head start in a 20 second race, and the f150 (gen. 2) still won by a longshot. so in my opinion, stick with the gen. 2, and check all the screws, check the steering knuckles, and run the first time without the body, and you should be fine.

Well I ran my Iwaver against some XMods and mini-zs today, and I did pretty well for stock, but the evo xmods where fast but where not as tight in the corners. I came in 3 overall and got some free parts for the iwaver. So I can't wait until I get the parts I ordered from tower, the carbon fober chassis, alum suspension , alum, steering knuckles, pro-motor and carbon t-plate.
