Nitrofarm www.nitrofarm.com is having their big 2 day Fall Flameout event the 17/18th weekend.

I'm thinking of going on Sat. and camping out overnight. Anyone else up for a road trip?

I'm out. I got plans with the gf on saturday and a dd race on sunday.

I might be going to that race Bruce. Camping at the track is out for me. I was thinking about getting a room close by instead. Gotta shower after being at the track that long. Body odors might become unbearable......=)

these big spendy RC trips aren't for me (except maybe once/twice a year and I like to spend my money going to STL)

Duh, the race is the 17/18th. Still in Snakebite?

A room is a better idea but there is a camp ground w/showers across from the Butter Burger place (I love that place!!). Also, they have a shower at the club house if anyone camps at the track.

The "Duh" was for me! I screwed up the date on my initial post. It's correct now-the 17th/18th.

And the hamburger joint is Culver's. Man that place is good!!!

Try Schoops in WI if you pass one. Culver's is good...good chili and frozen custard. Didn't we do this thread before...............?

Correct me if Im wrong, but the DD's are not racing on the weekend of the 17th/18th.
The schedule says this weekend the 11th is at Cory's and then 9/25 & 10/09 at Dave's.

Schedule? What schedule? How many DD races are left this season, which days, and where? I'm looking to join but need the info to make my decision.

I completely thought Bruce said the 11th weekend for nitrofarm, but he meant 18th weekend.

bruce originally posted the race on the 10/11. He then later corrected his mistake and changed it to 17/18. Hope this clears it up for ya

that is our anniversary weekend and the wife gave me the o.k. to go. going to vegas the following weekend. told her we will celebrate there and she went for it. going up saturday and sunday. not going to stay the night as it is only 1 hour from my house.
