Got a slash! - 07-03-2009, 05:21 PM

Traded a losi mini crawler for it. Just not into crawling.
Anyway, what do people do for the springs? Preload the heck out of them or replace them with heavier ones. I need better clearance.
Do they need to be upgraded for bashing?
Suggestions?
Mike

better shocks. the traxxas shock caps pop off really easily. if you go stiffer on the springs you'll find your self on your lid a lot more then normal.

Well the shocks are honding up fine so far, but I do have a set of alum caps from my stampede and rustler if they break. I ended up adjusting the preload to the springs and raising the body about 1/4 inch. Much better with less rubbing. Very fun truck.
