Stop the roll overs! - 04-16-2008, 02:04 PM

I lowered my 2.5 maxx to make it more stable my moving the bottom of the shocks to the outside hole and it still rolls over easy.
Is there anything else i can do?
Running across five acres every time it rolls is getting old.
I'm sure i could just slow down when i turn but thats no fun

I’ve got a fever. And the only prescription is more cowbell.

Short of stiffening up the suspension with heavy springs and/or thicker oil, that'll be your best bet.

did you hear that they are going to start showing porno movies at the gas pumps
so you can see someone else getting screwed at the same time
I went into the gas station today and asked for
five dollars worth of gas......The clerk farted and gave me a receipt.

i would think softer because then it would cusion the roll rather than have it stiff in the turn?

The worst dirtbiker is always one step ahead of even the best quad rider....
Racing from a roll is like beating off, it may be fun but its not the real thing.

Thinking about it stiffer means less lean then less roll over.

To a point it will reduce roll tendancies, but too soft can help induce excess body roll too.

Too soft will cause it to roll. Lower your droop (dont think a tmaxx can?)

Stiffer would make it more responsive, but might not give you more traction, softer springs = more traction. You'd have to mess around. but remember its a monster truck with a high center of gravity...it's going to want to do that naturally.

LSP lots of Khz, Werks .28 8 port.

Revo 2.5, TRX 3.3 Engine, Center Diff. Fast and Turns on a dime.

I would have got a revo myself, but to was given to me new by a friend so I can't complain.

Revos are sweet, You could try some offset wheels as well, Proline makes them. however I've found the wheels off-set part will bend fairly easily.

I'd reccomend like 17mm Hubs and Offset wheels, Either way, a Hub Extender will work as well.

I have 8th scale buggy shocks with heavy springs on mine. Only 1 shock in each corner. I run 50 wt in all four. Stratcat and Bubba can vouch. It rips ass and handles like it's on rails. I'm also running revo wheels and bowties too
