Will be there on the 2nd. Just finished the paint today on the new AX10. Turned out pretty sweet for my first trim and paint.

Just a reminder about the meeting,
This Saturday 1pm hobbytown in Naperville I am going to try to get there early so I can setup chairs/tables and do some remodeling on the course. For those of you I dont know, it will be good to meet you, for those that I know it will be good to see you again. Think of things that you would like to have brought up for discussion and bring your trucks to work on/ get tips on.

Any idea how long the informational part will last on Saturday? My dousche boss scheduled me for a 4-7 shift Saturday. I would have to be out of the HT by 3:15 at the latest... Thanks Matt

so what happened at the meeting ? me. got some cash comin baby gotta love uncle sam .......... sometimes ..lol got the parts super beast is considered retire for now yea next time im there im getting the trans and some wheels stock tlts wont cut it for the redesigned course let me know whats a new?

The meeting/bashing yesterday was GREAT!! I am so new to the hobby that I really needed to see/experience a course and other trucks. I also thank the guys that explained the different DIG setups and suspension designs. The conversations were very helpful.
That all being said, I ordered a RC4WD R2D, servo mounts, and bent links. From the looks of things, that is the next logical progression. I look forward to the next comp to try it all out....that is as long as all the parts arrive in time. Everybody that has not joined as of yet, do so. This is a good group of people that are very informative. The initial plans are very nice, and the locations are very accomodating and well thought out. I had to watch the kids all day while the wife worked. I wanted to go. We need like a newsletter or something so those of us that can't come all the time know the rules etc. Just an option.

Name: SCRC Suburban Chicago Rock Crawlers Official Forum will be added to BIGSQUIDRC.com Cedric is working on a club logo We will start out with a 4 comp in-door series for 2.2's Feb 16 1pm Hobbytown USA Naperville Feb 23 1pm HobbyTown Orland park Mar 15 1pm RC Hobbies Naperville TBA HobbyTown USA Naperville Sorry a couple of those dates are so close together, HobbyTown Orland called in the middle of the meeting and asked to be put on the sched as soon as possible. The summer Series was discussed and we be discussed again at the next meeting. We are currently searching for places to host the summer comps. Look for a news letter in the next couple hrs (if you dont get it please let me know). Next Meeting Mar 8 1pm HobbyTown USA Naperville. Dont forget, to get the 10% club discount you need to come to a meeting so that we can get you officially signed in to the computer.

Do you need to come to all of the outings? I really don't think I'm ready to compete yet as I haven't even got the truck yet lol. Plus I would think I need to hear the rules. I'm definatly gonna try and get out to watch and observe though!
