Why did you even buy the whole truck and not just buy the parts for the crawler? lol
Looks good. I wish I had the skills to do something like that. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for Ford, our tools would rust. |

i am able to lay the trans on its side to lower the cog and because it is wider i can lay the shocks down more and still be stable.

the angle of the shafts doesn't effect it at all. its not like I'm trying to set a speed record.

In my opinion, keep an eye out for the axial parts to start arriving, and throw an axial trans in there. The lighter weight, and smaller size will keep the weight more evenly centered in the chassis. But 'till then, I think this will really help with the "High center" issues. Kyosho Inferno GT: Stock engine Axial AX-10 Scorpion: Novak Goat Brushless Losi Mini-LST: 9200Kv C4 Brushless |

the evolution continues
twin jr 400oz servos and 2 rx packs too power them ![]() ![]() ![]() i have also finally got the gears in it. and for the anther crawlers, i have found a way to save the pigs from getting beaten and battered. i split the axle case and put a piece of paper between them. then coat the bottom and front of the diff case with jb weld. then just trim the paper tight to the case. it will allow you to still be able to take it apart if you have to.
