new bash spot ideas

so due to circumstances that i dont care to talk about. myself and thirdgen89gta are starting a new bash spot. The new spot hasnt been decided on yet so we are gonna need help from those of you who are interested. we wanna set it up in a location that would be easy for all to make it. Also, we are thinkin of makin saturday nights a possibility.

So, throw down any suggestions that you might have...basically once we get a few ideas, we can come to some sort of agreement on where to bash.

Also, we are trying to set up an open class road course, per say. Ive dropped some cash on a track system called road rail to set up a road course. basically you set it up however you want and go to town. It comes in small medium and large. So we may try to set up some sort of donation fund or whatever to grab more if its not big enough. you can check it out at HyperHobbies home of the RoadDome to see what it looks like.

So, like i said, if you have any ideas for a good spot that you know bout. Or you wanna switch to saturdays or have any ideas at all...drop a line and let us know.
Ill be scoutin out some spots myself so ill keep ya's posted.

Have you guys ever bashed at the jumps in roselle? I went a few times, during the bash days. Don't remember the exact location, but you could see the elgin o'hare expressway about 50 feet south of the spot.

If it's still around, it's a pretty nice bash spot.

I found a skate park in Round Lake Beach with a REAL but small RC dirt track. They also have a parkinglot large enough to run some otherstuff. Been there onec and I think this will be my regular bashspot.

thats kind of a big hike for me....but its always an option if enough peeps are interested.

my hands are kind of tied as to when and where i can bash. i work 2 jobs and have a wife that i have to pay attention to lol. so, im really limited to fri/sat nights, and somewhere close to addison. i usually stay out till 1-2 in the a.m but if i were to go to round lake, id have to cut out way earlier.

keep the ideas comin though...

how about a little farther south? me and newguy like coming out, but the hour drive each way is a pain in the gas.

some guys bash in shorewood, just off of 55.

I live in Elmwood park There are a ton of park districts up and down River rd. Gotta be some good spots there. I heard around Cumberland and Irving by the airfeild there is something but havnt checked it out.

that forest preserve on cumberland and irving? the one with the 'big" hill in the middle? when i still lived in chicago i used to take my truck out there every chance i had!

If it's a good spot lets try it out. It's like 5 minutes from me. I'll scope it out after work tommorrow and give you the low down. Maybe grab some pics if I think about it.
