I've got no reason to hold back. I've actually been getting pretty fed up reading all the negative posts. It's gotten to the point where if you ask a question about anything that isn't the FOM, you're immediately tagged a basher and nobody wants to help.
As for the "out-of towners", I know this is mostly a local forum and the chances of the guy finding any R/C buds here is VERY slim. A little courtesy in welcoming him, THEN pointing out the forum is Chicago based could have been a little friendlier. No wonder "Chicagoans" are assumed to be rude. This board unfriendly to basher?? Noooooo... I only lost my mod powers because I point out the fact that board is a wast of time for the majority of people here because of the way bashers get ignored and made fun of and all the threads end up becoming pages of smart ass comments.
